Intro Into Digital Tech

The assignment was to create a flow chart with 5 careers and employability skills, values, and qualities. I used Mind Meister to complete this task. Mind Meister made it very easy to do the things needed to complete the task. I learned that using different resources makes doing some assignments easier. It was hard to think of some careers, but other than that this assignment was a breeze. I looked up some common jobs and thought of some skills that make those careers what they are today. Anytime I need to complete a chart or a comparison I could use Mind Meister to do them.  

During the past few days, we have been working on making a poster for CTSO's. I used Microsoft word to complete the assignment. I used a few shapes a border off of Google and some text boxes and some images of the CTSO's. I learned that I could use Microsoft word to create art. There was one thing that I found challenging and that was being able to move the pictures after I pasted them onto the background. I overcame this by pasting them on a separate document then setting them too in front of the text. I then copied those images then pasted them to keep the sourced format. This could be useful in other classes if I need to design something. I could use this to make flyers for my squad that I play with when I'm at home. I could make flyers to tell when our practice is to when we are scheduled to play for real.

Intro to digital tech is a course about web and digital communications, programming, advanced programming, information support and services, and network system pathways. We are learning about Student Organizations but we will learn 9 more units throughout the semester. Employability skills are in activities and projects throughout the course. We have learned to use several websites and apps such as Grammarly and Symbaloo to help with our work. We will also learn employability skills during this class. This is what we will learn during this course.
