Cyberbullying

Image
Cyberbullying Let's start by defining cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is bullying that happens over any digital device. This means a phone or even a computer. Everyone can prevent cyberbullying. If you are getting cyber bullied then tell an adult that you are. No longer talk to that person and block them on all platforms. You should also document the conversations to prove that they did and show that to someone. Just because you are getting cyber bullied doesn't mean that you should let it happen. You need to do something about it. If someone else is getting cyber bullied then you need to support them in their time of need. You should also report what is happening to an adult or superior.

For this assignment, we had to create a flyer for netiquette rules. I used postermywall.com to complete the assignment. I added some shapes to symbolize some of the things I meant. I even added a few pictures. Overall I enjoyed making this assignment more than the others either because of it's simplicity or because it was actually fun to think of what you are supposed to when you communicate with others on the internet. I learned that you should always respect others privacy when speaking to someone. You should never share information about anyone else. I could use this information when I speak to others on the internet. I want to see their reactions we I speak very respectful and formal. A digital footprint is data that you leave behind when you go to a website or post something on social media. It can be linked to you. Have you ever been to Instagram. What about Myspace for you older people? I'm sure that almost everyone has posted something on social media. If you posted a picture of everyone at bob's barbecue party that was on Sunday, you have left a digital footprint. If you have ever gone on to a website that has used cookies then you have left behind a digital footprint. It is really important that you manage your digital footprint. You don't want bad things to catch up to you. Try to avoid sites that are not secure and make sure to check a sites security and legitimacy before giving out your credit card information. People could literally track for doing almost anything on the inte

I think that this assignment was relatively easy. We had to create an infographic. I used Microsoft Word to complete this assignment. I learned that there are 9 themes about Digital Citizenship. There was nothing challenging about this assignment. There was no challenge to defeat. I'm not sure how this information will be helpful in the future. I can use this information to know when to use all caps. I'll use the all caps when I am getting mad at someone over messages. file:///C:/Users/Patron/Desktop/Digital%20Citizenship%20Themes.pdf When you look at the link, you have to copy and paste it in a search bar.
